Steve Jones, star from the punk band Sex Pistols, has admitted to having farted in front of Lisa Marie Presley to see if she was "cool."

There are many ways to gauge whether someone is 'cool' or not. Such as asking about their interests, or seeing how they react to a fart. Well, at least Steve Jones believes the latter to be true, as discussed in a recent Guardian interview.
When asked if the singer has any party tricks, he said that he enjoys farting in front of people. I think this is less of a party trick and more an absurd social interaction, but whatever.
"I like to fart in front of people. You can tell if someone's cool or not from their reaction," he admitted. I wonder if he keeps one on standby in case he needs to probe someone's 'coolness.'
"I farted in front of Lisa Marie Presley once. She was sitting outside Starbucks and I was going in, and I just let one rip."
Dude. There's farting, then there's tearing a fat one. I think even the coolest person would be a little taken aback if Steve Jones suddenly let out a big one as he walked past. She was sitting down as well, so she and her coffee were in the direct line-of-fire.

I suppose farting around someone is a good way to probe what they're like. But farting on someone while they're enjoying a beverage in public is taking it to a whole other level.
Lisa Marie Presley is a pretty cool person, all things considered, so the 'Steve Jones fart metric' isn't too reliable. I'm just wondering who else he farted near, and how they reacted.
