Ronnie Dunn & Parker McCollum Share An Awkward Encounter On Stage At End Of Performance

Ronnie Dunn and Parker McCollum shared an encounter on stage that fans everywhere believe was an awkward one.

Brooks & Dunn and the Gold Chain Cowboy performed together last weekend at Boots In The Park in Norco, California. Other artists performed at the event, but one moment between Dunn and McCollum has all the fans talking.

Parker McCollum's signature move is to bite his golden chain. He does it at all his concerts, and the fans love it. Well, it looks like Ronnie Dunn made a comment about it, and fans believe it may have embarrassed Parker McCollum.

As the song "Red Dirt Road" came to a close, McCollum bit his golden chain. It appears as if Dunn tapped his shoulder to make a small comment about it with a big ol' smile. Whatever was said made McCollum look a little bashful.

Mr. Dunn was not too fond of the chain in the mouth #brooksanddunn #parkermccollum #goldchaincowboy

But honestly, the more I watch the video, the more I don't believe there was anything awkward or negative said at all. It's clear that Ronnie made a lighthearted notion toward the signature move in acknowledgment, and McCollum nodded in confirmation.

Any body language that suggests him being shy or put off by Dunn I believe can be excused as what I like to call "last-moments-of-crowd-watching-awkwardness-before-leaving-the-stage-as-the-music-dies-down." Every artist has their own way of behaving during this strange few moments.

Internet Reacts To Encounter Between McCollum And Dunn

Fans took to the comments to share their own thoughts and opinions of the moment.

"He basically told him to grow up," one laughed.

"Aw Parker looked embarrassed," wrote another.

"WE LIVE FOR IT RONNIE LEAVE HIM ALONE," yelled a passionate fan.

"It looks like he's saying he should put his chain in his mouth or just joking around with him. Y'all need to take a chill pill," another suggests, which are my thoughts exactly. This may be especially so when you consider that Ronnie Dunn is also wearing a chain.

"Lil tap at the end like. Go on boy. Gitt," commented another.

"I don't think Ronnie said anything bad to him. Love them both," shared a fan.

"Why do yall assume he was being negative toward him... you have no idea what he said to him lol," commented one more.

I don't believe there was anything awkward about this encounter, but so many out there do. I suppose we'll know, however, unless one of them comments on it.
