There was never a time in my life where I was wondering what Roseanne Barr's rapping would sound like. Truly, who could watch her sitcom back in the day and ever try to imagine that? The mere idea is the stuff of nightmares, the antithesis of what you would imagine from her once upon a time ago. However, we're clearly living in the darkest timeline, where logic and sense go out of the window. Instead, we're subjects to her desperate attempts for attention through pro Donald Trump rapping. It's just as bad as you think it is.

Roseanne, Please Never Try This Again, Thanks
Recently, Canadian rapper and general grifter Tom MacDonald released a pro-Trump rap song with Roseanne ahead of his presidential inauguration. I know, the irony of a Canadian who can't vote making a conservative American anthem is incredibly rich. Moreover, a felon who can't vote as the feature is just as funny. Perhaps that should be a pretty telling sign that everyone is getting played here. Neither of these two really care about much of anything. They just want to try and swindle you for money and engagement. It's the only way they keep the lights on. Roseanne and Tom don't stand for anything, they just know how easy it is to rage bait outsiders and pander to the ignorant.
Still, all of that aside, it just doesn't even remotely work as a song. Barr's bars have no bite, just an old, crotchety woman upset that people don't want or need her anymore. It's painfully stale and stereotypically bad. Perhaps that's the intention but that's really a self own on MacDonald and Roseanne. Making bad music on purpose doesn't make you look smart. It only makes you look like an idiot. That's why getting mad or scoffing at the pair doesn't do anything for anyone. The creatively bankrupt will always find a new venture to con people with in the end.
