Sharon Osbourne Thanks Fans for Their Support After Ozzy's Passing: "It's Carried Me Through Many Nights"

Sharon Osbourne lost her dear spouse, heavy metal icon Ozzy Osburne, in July. They had been married since 1982. He died at the age of 76. From her utterly grief-stricken demeanor at his funeral in England, his passing was excruciating for her. But Sharon, 72, seems to be coming around these days, a development her fans are very grateful to see.

She Wrote a Heartfelt Message on Instagram

Per People, Sharon wrote a heartfelt Instagram post on September 12, She said, "I'm still having trouble finding the words to express how grateful I am for the overwhelming love and support you've shown on social media. Your comments, posts, and tributes have brought me more comfort than you know. None of it has gone unnoticed, in fact, it's carried me through many nights."

She added, "Though I'm still finding my footing, I wanted to share some glorious creatures I had the chance to spend an afternoon with. The connection you make with these powerful birds is built entirely on trust and confidence. They'll choose to perch on you only if they sense you are safe and unafraid of them. It's a bond I know all too well, and the experience was nothing short of magical."

The post ended with these words. "I love you all, and I thank you deeply for the otherworldly amount of love you continue to send my way."

Sharon and Daughter Kelly Had Fun at a Falconry

Mom and daughter enjoyed themselves at a falconry recently. The experience they had with these beautiful, majestic birds was magical to watch on an Instagram video. Sharon interacted with the birds like a natural.

In one clip, she has seed in her heavy glove that a gray bird eats. In another, a white owl flies directly over to her. Sharon also pets an owl that perches on her glove. The outing appeared to really lift her spirits.
