Soap Opera Veteran Tristan Rogers Shares That He Has Cancer
Tristan gets his start acting in roles for Australian television early on. Soaps like Bellbird, Number 96, and The Box begins his illustrious career. Then, he stars in a police drama called The Link Men, as well as other various smaller roles on film and TV.
However, Rogers is best known for his time on the soap opera General Hospital, and its spinoff Night Shift. He starts off with his role as Robert Scorpio back in 1980 until the beginning of 1992. Initially, they kill off his character when leaving the series. But Tristan couldn't stay away for too long, coming back in 1995 to play as a spirit in consoling one of the characters.
Then, through some convoluted means, he comes back to the soap opera in 2006. This stint is also pretty brief. However, they transition him over to the soap opera's spinoff Night Shift to play with his character's daughter. Ever since, he's been off and on with General Hospital, his last appearance back in 2024 for its 62nd season.
