Storms Threaten Thousands Of People's 4th Of July Plans

This isn't something that I want to hear. Especially as someone who lives in the East. Apparently, there's a cold front that is shifting across the US. And it ends with storms for the eastern half of the country. Specifically, a potential rainout for the Southeast United States on the big day. That means that travel could be a bit of a problem. Of course, the weather fights us the first time in forever that the Fourth of July gives us a three-day weekend.

Cancel Your Fourth of July Plans!

No, don't actually. I definitely do not give vacation or financial advice. At least not any advice you should genuinely listen to.

However, a lot of Americans may find themselves cancelling vacation plans. Which, as I said before, is so brutal. How is it possible our luck is this bad? Getting a three-day weekend and then being confined to your home is the biggest F you the weather could have given us.

The FOX Forecast Center is currently tracing some unsettled weather ahead of a cold front traveling across the country. And I'll tell you what, the weather won't be the only thing unsettled if this becomes a real problem.

By Tuesday, the brutal conditions will be in the Northeast. And lots of flight hubs could be facing some issues. I'm talking about the airports in Boston, New York, Baltimore, Atlanta, and Tallahassee.

The Storms Can't Stop Won't Stop

Yeah, that's right, folks, they're just gonna keep on moving. By Wednesday, the storms will have been pushed farther south. I'm talking some great surfing conditions in the Carolinas, maybe all the way down to Georgia.

Who doesn't love a stormy fourth? No one really wants to grill outside at all. Yeah, everyone wants to stay indoors. Which is good because the Fourth for southerners will be soaking wet. In fact, the National Hurricane Center has deemed the Southeast coast an area to be on watch. You know, for hurricanes.

About as brutal a beat as it gets for Fourth of July partiers. Hurricanes or not, there will 100% be tropical downpours.

All I can say to vacationers is good luck.
