According to her posts on X, "They beat me before this video and pistol whipped me the pummeling felt like it would never end and I protected my head by putting my arms up like I learned how to do in boxing, blood was streaming down my head and my hands were beat brown."
She had previously spoken of her cryptocurrency holdings online, and it is believed that the attack was targeted. The intruders pulled her to the ground and demanded that she give them access to her phone and crypto accounts.

Since then, Amouranth has spoken about taking time off from being online. She has also voiced that she may step away from streaming forever after the attack. The brutal attempted robbery and gunfire inside her house have made her hesitant to return.
