Besides releasing hit singles and new albums, the pop star Taylor Swift also releases various Christmas ornaments. The star has released 103 ornaments throughout the years and this Taylor Swift Superfan has collected them all.
The NY Post shares that Manhattanite Molly Swindall began collecting the Taylor Swift ornaments back in 2020. While it started as a way to fill in some of the holes that lacked decor, it quickly turned into an obsession. Swindall shared her tactics with the Post.
"Some of them sell out in minutes," she confided to the Post. "But I have purchased every ornament she's ever released, even if that means buying 34 in one year." That level of dedication is how she earned her Taylor Swift Superfan status.
Furthermore, she admitted to the Post that "Fifty-three of them came in the last four years alone."
A Method To The Madness
Besides persistence, there is a method to the madness of purchasing Taylor Swift ornaments. Swindall shared that Taylor Swift's team will drop hints online that her ornaments are about to drop within the hour. Once the hint is dropped she explains, "You have to be online and ready to buy them as soon as they drop."
With this tactic, the Taylor Swift Superfan has successfully purchased all 18 of the Swift-inspired ornaments this year. Additionally, this superfan doesn't just show her support by purchasing Christmas ornaments. She has also gone to see the pop star in concert 54 times.
Finally, she doesn't claim ownership of this tree all on her own. She shares that the tree belongs to the fandom and she shares herself decorating it on TikTok each year so that other Swifties can relish in the joy. Let's just say that the Taylor Swift fans rally behind this superfan and her incredible ornament collection.
