The $7.6 million property had originally been booked for just six people. However, a social media post quickly turned the gathering into a massive event. An estimated 500 to 800 teens attended.

According to local authorities, the night ended in chaos.

Texas Mansion Party spirals out of control with gunshots reported

Celina Police Chief John Cullison confirmed that officers responded to reports of a large gathering at the property on March 21.

As police arrived and the crowd began to disperse, the situation escalated further.

Cullison said the night ended with multiple gunshots and two arrests.

Officers searched the area for potential victims but confirmed that no injuries were reported.

"Scenes like these highlight the very real risks and dangers associated with large, unsupervised gatherings, especially when fueled through social media and potentially involving underage alcohol or substance abuse," Cullison wrote in a

Facebook post.

Authorities arrested two individuals at the scene. One, a minor, was charged with driving under the influence.

The other was taken into custody on "an active Aggravated Assault warrant out of Dallas County Sheriff's Office".

Property owner left stunned by damage and aftermath

The home's owner, Kishore Karlapudi, said he had no idea a party of that scale was planned.

He noted that the rental agreement allows no more than 20 people on the property.

According to Karlapudi, the aftermath left significant damage throughout the home. Including broken fixtures and furniture that had been moved or removed.

CBS News reported that the Airbnb listing has since been temporarily taken down for two weeks while repairs are carried out.

"We were totally shocked, and they damaged the property, you know. They took all the furniture out from the living space, and they put it in the garage," Karlapudi told FOX 4 News.

"They took all the wall fixtures, everything out, they broke the wall fixture ... the island was broken. The granite countertop was broken because it looks like kids danced on those."

Cullison added that the gathering may have been organized for profit, suggesting it quickly grew beyond control once it spread online.
