The Artist That Luke Bryan Thinks Is One Of The Best Singers Of All Time

Luke Bryan has revealed who he thinks is one of the greatest singers of all time. And it is not someone I thought he'd say.

The country singer sat down on iHeartRadio's Bobby Bones Show some months ago, where he paid an artist the greatest compliment ever. On the topic of how he sings, Luke Bryan drew a comparison to another singer, and casually mentioned how great he thinks they are.

"Gary LeVox, in my opinion, is one of the best singers of all time," he mentioned in passing.

If that name doesn't hit you right away, you may better know LeVox as the lead vocalist for the Rascal Flatts. Makes more sense now?

Luke Bryan is a huge country singer, so to be paid that sort of compliment from him is a big deal. I mean Gary LeVox is already huge and widely appreciated already, but it's still a pretty big deal.

The country titan brought up Gary LeVox on the subject of his own singing capabilities.

"I'm a loud singer," he noted and drew in LeVox for comparison. Despite thinking he's a brilliant singer, even "he has to, like, let it rip to make it happen."

He says this after revealing that "Rollercoaster" is the hardest song for him to sing on stage, as he really has to hit some powerful high notes that can be quite hard to reach for a "loud" singer like himself.

Luke Bryan Plans To Sing Up Until 65

After dropping Gary LeVox as one of the greatest singers of all time, Luke Bryan gets back on track by talking about vocal ranges and capabilities.

The host asked him if he'd ever change keys, to which Bryan simply responded, "I don't wanna do that."

Although he did reason, by saying, "I think when I'm 65 and I'm out there, it's probably not going to be a bad idea to change keys and stuff like that."

Talk of changing keys isn't exactly riveting, but he did just reveal that the country singer has no plans to quit any time soon. If he can see himself performing on stage at the grand age of 65, then I think he'll be singing till be runs his voice box into the ground.

And even then, he'd probably still hum a decent tune.
