After a series of tests, they conclude that the symptoms suggest a Type A flu and pneumonia. Thankfully, Aaron anticipates being fine enough to head home real soon. "I feel optimistic I'll be back on my feet in no time," Quinton says.
Unfortunately, the illness set him back from the planned event he had that day. Aaron was in town to present at an event in Laguna Hills, California, deep in Orange County. However, given the circumstances, Quinton ended up missing everything. There's no word from the event planners on if or how they altered their plans.

Additionally, this isn't the only time the actor had been grappling with such sicknesses either. Reports also suggest that Aaron has been grappling with issues in his lungs for years now. Back in 2019, Quinton had to go to the hospital again to deal with an upper respiratory infection. There's no telling if his recent bout with pneumonia is related to the previous respiratory issue.
Quinton Aaron was best known for his role as Michael Oher in The Blind Side. It's a film that the actor is quite proud of in interviews. However, the NFL player himself tells the New York Times that the movie only made his attempts to get into the league only more difficult.
"The NFL people were wondering if I could read a playbook," Oher explains of the Quinton Aaron film. "It seemed kind of funny to me, to tell you the truth, like it was a comedy about someone else. It didn't register. But social media was just starting to grow, and I started seeing stuff that I'm dumb. I'm stupid. Every article about me mentioned The Blind Side, like it was part of my name."
