The awards will be handed out at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Nov. 19. Hosted by Lainey Wilson, the event will be broadcast live on ABC at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. It will also be available for streaming the next day on Hulu.

But somehow, Wallen managed to already receive a CMA Award this year. Details are below.

Morgan Wallen Is Being Honored for Music That "Continues To Transcend Borders"

Yesterday, the Country Music Association announced the recipients of the 2025 CMA International Awards. Wallen has been awarded the International Artist Award.

This honor was once known as the International Touring Artist Award. It "recognizes outstanding achievement by a US-based artist who has demonstrated the most significant creative growth, development and promotion of the Country Music industry outside of the United States." It has been previously awarded to Kip Moore and Luke Combs.

press release says Wallen received the honor for "propelling Country Music to unprecedented global heights." It adds that his "influence" extends "far beyond genre boundaries."

"With sold-out stadiums, record-breaking chart success, and a growing international fanbase, Wallen continues to elevate Country Music on a worldwide stage," it adds.

Also, Canadian artist Cameron Whitcomb has been honored with the Jeff Walker Global Country Artist Award. He was recognized for his "outstanding achievements by a Country Music artist who is originally based internationally."

"This year's honorees embody the extraordinary ways Country Music continues to transcend borders," said Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer, in a statement. "Whether through radio, touring, media, or artist development, each has helped share the genre with audiences around the world. Their work not only broadens Country Music's reach, it deepens its impact, reminding us that this community truly is global."

This Year's CMA Awards Promise to Be a Memorable Event

While Wallen has not been announced as a performer for this year's CMA Awards, it will be star-studded nonetheless.

Yesterday, Kelsea Ballerini, Kenny Chesney, Brandi Carlile, Riley Green, Miranda Lambert, Patty Loveless, Old Dominion, The Red Clay Strays, and Chris Stapleton were announced as performers.

Previously announced performers include BigXthaPlug, Luke Combs, Ella Langley, Megan Moroney, Shaboozey, Zach Top, Tucker Wetmore, Lainey Wilson, and Stephen Wilson Jr.
