The Graphic Reason Tyler Childers Had To Cancel A Concert And He Had No Shame Sharing

Sometimes, some things are just better left unsaid. But, while performing in North Carolina, Tyler Childers decided to share the all-too-graphic and intimate reasons he had previously postponed the concert.

When someone has to take time off work for sickness, it's usually best not to ask. First of all, it's private, and second, often you don't want to know. The reason Tyler Childers cancelled a whole bunch of shows was both. But it didn't stop him from explaining in intricate detail why he did it anyway.

While performing at the Coast Credit Union Music Park in Raleigh, he took a moment to address the crowd. "So some of you may not know this, because why would you?" he began. "I wouldn't have known it unless someone had shared this with me. There's a fecal chart."

So, Tyler Childers decided to take an unscheduled segway from his usual setlist to enlighten the crowds. No warning at all, just good country music to poop talk in seconds. He continued to break it down for the crowd. "It goes from one to seven. And one is like really good ice. And seven is like the water that you put over it," he explained. Then, getting way too into it, he said, "And I was at about eight. That would've been... that would've been a show, but it wouldn't have been the one I wanted to perform for y'all."

So now, not only did the Tyler Childers crowd know just why he had cancelled a concert, they could also visualize what his guts were doing to cause it. Talk about too much information.

An Unneeded Excuse

His fans were already understanding when Tyler Childers took some time off and rescheduled a few concerts. But, after his all too graphic explanation, I don't think there was anyone who could have blamed him. Some things can't be worked through.

He wouldn't be the first artist to have an on stage poop emergency though. Not so long ago Jelly Roll opened up about a risky fart he had on stage that turned out to be a little more than he bargained for. And, of course, who can forget about the backstage trash can that Kelly Clarkson 'destroyed'?

I feel like some artists need to learn to keep some things in their heads, and not on a microphone.
