Luke Bryan is the consummate performer, but even he doesn't enjoy singing some of his songs. The American Idol judge says that "Roller Coaster," a No. 1 hit for him in 2014, is the one song he prefers not to sing anymore.

"When you start the chorus ... but when everything's clicking, it's easy," Bryan reveals on The Bobby Bones Show, adding that the chorus is really, really high. "But when it is not ...if it isn't clicking, we've had to skip 'Roller Coaster' a couple of times."
Bryan admits his allergies and asthma have made performing more of a struggle in recent years. Although he isn't willing to change keys on his songs, at least not yet, he has learned to compensate for his vocal struggles.
"We've gotten to where we can move some stuff around," he divulges. "One thing is, when I'm having vocal trouble, the reason why I'm having it is I'm pushing above the band. So we've learned if I just get up there with my guitar or the piano, and really settle down and sing a little softer, that helps."
Luke Bryan's Future Plans
Bryan will have plenty of chances to perform his own songs this year. He will kick off his Country Song Came On Tour on May 29 in Bethel, New York, a massive tour that wraps up on August 30. Fortunately, Bryan hints there is still a lot more music, and tours, coming from him in the future, with no plans of slowing down anytime soon.
"I want to be happy. Really try to harness and enjoy what's happened in my career," Bryan shares on Taste of Country Nights .
"You know, you've heard the stories of becoming an old curmudgeon as you get older, I don't wanna be that," he continues. "I wanna have fun and have fun with this career and look back and say, 'D--n, that was fun!'"
Bryan is still having hits at radio too. The Georgia native has already had 31 chart-topping singles, and is back at radio with "Country Song Came On." The song, already in the Top 40, is from his latest Mind of a Country Boy album, released last September.
