Actor Mickey Rourke has led a turbulent life. At 73, the once handsome, charismatic star of films like Diner and 9 1/2 Weeks has reportedly fallen on hard times. The twice-married New York native earned an Academy Award nomination for his role in The Wrestler in 2008. Today, however, he reportedly has legal problems stemming from thousands of dollars in unpaid rent.

According to TMZ, Rourke is facing possible eviction from his home because he allegedly owes $59,100 in unpaid rent. Per the outlet, court documents indicate that he got a three-day notice in mid-December telling him to come up with the money or leave his Los Angeles home. He "ended up failing to comply."
That Is Not the Sole Scrape That Rourke Has Dealt With
Rourke was on Celebrity Big Brother last year. He seemingly wore out his welcome there when he allegedly "made several offensive comments about JoJo Siwa" and "used inappropriate language." Rourke reportedly got a warning from the show and "ultimately" left the reality series.
Photos Show Him Looking Aged
Some recent images of the actor from TMZ on Instagram show him looking very different than the way many fans remember him. He is standing in the doorway of the home he occupies. Rourke's now-gray hair is sparse, and his face appears completely changed from earlier times. The striking, boyish handsomeness he was known for is undetectable.
He Had Facial Injuries From Boxing Matches
According to The Daily Mail, Rourke explained the obvious transformation of his looks in a 2009 article. A former boxer, he said, "I had my nose broken twice. I had five operations on my nose and one on a smashed cheekbone. I had to have cartilage taken from my ear to rebuild my nose and a couple of operations to scrape out the cartilage because the scar tissue wasn't healing properly. That was one of the most painful operations...."
He attributed the extreme alteration of his face at that time partly to allegedly botched surgery. "Most of it was to mend the mess of my face because of the boxing, but I went to the wrong guy to put my face back together."
