This Is the Thing That Finally Got Faith Hill and Tim McGraw Out of the House

It's been a while since we've seen these two country stars out on the town. Here's what got them out and about again.

Faith Hill and Tim McGraw spent much of the 1990s and early 2000s in the limelight, but lately, you'd be hard-pressed to find them out and about. This weekend was a rare occurrence, as the famous country couple was seen in New York City at the Silver Lining Lounge. Their reasons for finally venturing out these days, however, typically have a lot less to do with them and a lot more to do with their daughter, Audrey.

The couple was seen enjoying a date night, dressed in low-key outfits to avoid attracting paparazzi. It was there at the lounge that Audrey McGraw was seen singing a set for the Lipps Service Live series.

The young artist is on a roll, already having released four singles this year alone. With songs like "Purple Flowers" and "Speak", Audrey puts a beautiful singer/songwriter spin on clever lyricism. With stripped-down production and raw vocals, she's crafted a style that is truly all her own.

This girl's just getting started, and her parents had to come out to watch her shine.

Audrey McGraw Admits She Was "Nervous" To Show Her Parents Her Music

Audrey McGraw, 23, has been singing for a while, but is only now starting to give the world a glimpse of her talents on stage. Being the daughter of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill definitely sets her up for success, but she's also shared that she initially felt pressure coming from such a successful family. "I'm fans of them," she says. "So I was always nervous to show them what I wrote."

The first time she finally showed her music to her parents, she shares, it went way better than she expected. At the time, Audrey was attending drama school in New York, but her dad, Tim, made her reconsider that path. She talked about this in a conversation with Maren Morris and Sheryl Crow.

"I showed them this one song. My dad was like, 'Why are you going to drama school? Why do you want to be an actor? Are you sure?' And I was like, 'Why, is it good?' And he was like, 'It's pretty good.' And that song hasn't seen the light of day. But I think [he gave] me the confidence when I showed him the song."

We'll be paying attention to what's next for the youngest child of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. This artist is forging her own path, and we can't wait to see how her journey unfolds.
