Rhett performs a new version of his 2018 hit, "Life Changes," with new lyrics, as Akins holds photos of the ultrasound.

"While I was wrapping my head around being a dad / A big wrench got thrown in the family we thought we had," Rhett sings. "Lauren's showing, one on the way / That's five under 10, yeah, what can I say."

"Here we go again!" Rhett captions the video. "We've got some really excited big sisters in our house. God is so good."

Rhett and Akins are already proud parents to four daughters: Willa Gray, Ada James, Lennon Love and Lillie Carolina.

Thomas Rhett Draws Inspiration From His Four Children

Rhett has been open about the lessons he learns from his four children, who he says inspire him in every way, including physically. The 35-year-old reveals it's having four daughters that became the impetus for him getting in the best physical shape of his life.

"It's not like I'm old or anything," Rhett says. "But my wife and I definitely took getting in shape really seriously. My wife has always avoided the gym at all costs. And so, her and I decided to start working out together. Honestly, just to be in good shape for my kids has been a really driving motivation. Especially as they start to play basketball and play soccer.

"I wanna be able to get in the yard when I'm 65 and be able to kick a soccer ball around," he adds. "Or throw the football around with my grandkids."

Rhett and Akins have been married since 2012. The two knew each other since elementary school, but still find ways to improve their relationship.

"I think being extremely confessional with your wife, I think you'll be surprised about how she will take that," Rhett says on his wife's Live in Love podcast. "Because I think I lived in fear for so long about being 100% vulnerable, or saying exactly what I meant, knowing that it probably was going to tick her off a little bit,"

"I think that living in love in marriage is like being on the same page of vulnerability with each other," he adds. "And being as honest as you possibly can be. Because there's no way that they can understand you if you're beating around the bush."
