"They asked us to be on a few shows, but the only one we could do was Cleveland," Rhett reveals on Country Countdown USA. "I've known Morgan for 7 years. I remember watching him then, and thinking there's something different about him. Morgan and I remained good buddies, and I'm genuinely excited. I haven't seen his show since that first time. It's such a cool moment to watch one of the biggest artists in the world."
Rhett and Wallen released "Mamaw's House" together in 2023. Rhett and Wallen also teamed up on "Cowgirls," from Wallen's 2024 One Thing At A Time record. In addition to Rhett, Wallen also invited Kid Rock to join him on stage.
Thomas Rhett Headlines His Own Better In Boots Tour
Rhett is busy enough with his own career, including his headlining Better In Boots Tour, which kicked off in June. As part of the tour, Rhett recently sold out Boston's Fenway Park, a dream come true for the Georgia native.
"It was surreal. I've had a couple bucket list things, and this was one of them. It took me a while to come down from the high of Fenway," Rhett says, revealing that 35,000 people bought tickets, making it a sold-out show.
"It was just a dream," he adds.
After his sold-out show, Rhett shared his thoughts on the milestone on social media.
"This place has always been and always will be one of my favorite places to play shows on the planet," Rhett says in part. "Since day one of my career, I have dreamed of this moment. I'm so grateful for how much support y'all have shown me for over 15 years. So If I said I love you too many times last night, it's because I'm not sure how to fully express how much this city means to me."
Rhett has more to celebrate than just big tour opportunities. He recently had the No. 1 hit in the country, with "After All The Bars Are Closed."
