The post, which already has nearly 300,000 likes and over 10,000 comments, shared the unfortunate message of Kultida's passing. "It is with heartfelt sadness that I want to share that my dear mother, Kultida Woods, passed away early this morning," it began.

"My Mom was a force of nature all her own, her spirit was simply undeniable," Woods continued. The professional golfer described his mother as "quick with the needle and a laugh." He also said that she was his "biggest fan" and "greatest supporter," admitting that he wouldn't have any of his personal achievements without her.

"She was loved by so many, but especially by her two grandchildren, Sam and Charlie," he wrote. Sam Alexis Woods is his 17-year-old daughter, and Charlie Woods is his 15-year-old son. "Thank you all for your support, prayers, and privacy at this difficult time for me and my family."

Woods ended the message with "Love you Mom," and in a second image shared a lovely photo of his smiling mother.

Heartfelt messages of mourning have flooded the comments from Woods' fans. "Heartfelt prayers to you and your family," one user wrote.

"RIP Kultida, she looked so proud and having a blast at TGL," another fan commented. Just as this user mentioned, his mother's last public appearance was in Florida last week at Tiger's TGL match. So far, we don't know of her cause of death. But seeing as they discovered she passed away this morning, it would be easy to assume Kultida died in her sleep peacefully.

Seeing as Woods' mother was his biggest supporter, it's no surprise to see that she adored watching him play in tournaments.

Just last June, Woods made a tribute to his mother after the United States Golf Association gave him the Bob Jones Award. "My mom doesn't get enough credit," he said directly to his mother who was sitting nearby with the grandchildren. "Everyone thought that it was my dad when I went on the road, which it was, but Mom was at home. If you don't know, Mom has been there my entire life.

"She allowed me to get here," Woods added. "She allowed me to do these things, chase my dreams, and the support and love — I didn't do this alone. I had the greatest rock that any child could possibly have: my mom. Thank you, Mommy."
