The golf legend rolled his luxury SUV on Friday, an incident that led to DUI-related charges.

As expected, it sparked widespread attention across social media and sports media alike.

Tiger Woods Crash Sparks Viral Reaction Online

Woods' mugshot quickly began circulating online. However, in a bizarre twist, it wasn't just the incident itself that caught attention.

Fans noticed the 50-year-old was wearing a blue polo from his own clothing brand, Sun Day Red.

Within hours of the image going viral, the $125 shirt had completely sold out across all sizes, disappearing from the brand's website.

Despite the seriousness of the situation, the unexpected spike in demand added a surreal commercial angle to the story.

Woods, who is reportedly worth $1.5 billion according to Forbes, inadvertently turned a legal setback into a viral moment.

According to authorities, Woods showed signs of impairment at the scene.

He reportedly tested negative for alcohol via breathalyzer. Although officers believed he may have been under the influence of "some type of medication or drug."

Details Emerge From Florida Crash and Aftermath

Reports state that Woods attempted to drive around a truck that was pulling into a driveway when the incident occurred.

Traveling at a "high-rate of speed," he was forced to swerve to avoid an oncoming vehicle. He then made contact with the truck, causing his SUV to flip.

Woods managed to crawl out of the overturned vehicle through the passenger side before emergency responders arrived.

He was later charged with DUI with property damage, along with refusing a lawful test, and was reportedly released on bail around eight hours after his arrest.

Under Florida, he was required to spend at least eight hours in jail before posting bail.

The incident also sparked reactions from fans at the PGA Tour's Texas Children's Houston Open, where a group of spectators wore custom t-shirts featuring Woods' mugshot.

Underneath the image, the shirts read "#FreeTiger," with fans leaning into the moment in a lighthearted, if controversial, way as they posed for photos and enjoyed the event.

If Woods is convicted, he could face a flurry of fines and even jail time.
