McGraw Went on Social Media With a Sweet Tribute to Bennett

Per Parade, he paid homage to Bennett on Instagram, captioning it, "Man, what a cool dude. A highlight of my career, singing with Mr. Bennett." In a throwback photo, McGraw, 58, is carefully straightening Bennett's tie, Bennett is simultaneously touching McGraw's cowboy hat. After Bennett passed away, McGraw posted the same memorable image. These two giants of the music industry are obviously respecting each other and acknowledging each other's greatness. They were also cementing their friendship and professional partnership.

Bennett and McGraw Did a Duet of Another Country Music Icon's Classic Song

The pair sang together some twenty years ago on a Hank Williams track, "Cold, Cold Heart." Per the outlet, it was included on Bennett's LP, Duets: An American Classic. That album went on to nab a Grammy for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals. Among Bennett's singing partners for the project were some of the top names in the music business from across genres. They included Celine Dion, Paul McCartney, Barbra Streisand, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, and James Taylor.

He Also Worked Successfully With Lady Gaga

Another legend that Tony Bennett also worked with and had great success in doing so was Lady Gaga. The two recorded a pair of albums together showcasing classic songs including "Night and Day" and "De-Lovely." It speaks to Bennett's versatility and talent that he could adapt to the particular styles of so many other artists he worked with.
