During the 9-minute cold open, Tom Hanks's hands could be seen trembling on numerous occasions. The actor is now 68 years old, so people can expect him to start slowing down. Many had noticed it with alarm, however, and expressed their concerns.
Trembling hands is typically associated with many illnesses, such as Parkinson's. However, it is also a natural trait that older people can develop. It may not be a cause for concern at all, as his hands have been trembling since 2022.
That was the same year he opened up about his Type 2 diabetes diagnosis. Trembling hands can also be a symptom of this, as hands can tremble when a diabetic has low blood sugar.
Considering his demeanor and looks throughout the cold open, I don't reckon there is anything else seriously at play here. I'm no expert, however, and nothing has been said or announced.
His trembling is most likely due to natural occurrences given his age and diabetes, so there shouldn't be too much cause for concern. Although it isn't a pleasant sight.
Internet Reacts To Tom Hanks' Trembling Hands Once Again
Fans of the now-controversial actor went online to express their concerns over his trembling hands.
"Is Tom Hanks' hand shaking?" asks a fan.
Another responded, saying, "I also noticed it!!! And now I am concerned."
"Tom Hanks is looking so old did anyone else clock his hands shaking I'll cry rn," writes one.
"I noticed that Tom Hanks hands shake a little bit. ?," says an upset fan.
"Getting old is not for the weak," one simply comments, pinning the trembling on age alone.
Naturally, the internet hasn't been fully kind to the actor.
Tom Hanks has recently come under fire for his political views in recent years. Many hit the comments to remind the world of their distaste toward the actor, with many not caring for his hands or claiming that he deserves any illness that accompanies the trembling.
The duality of the internet is never to be underestimated.
