According to reports, the victim was a 38-year-old British man.

Tourist Dies After Fall Near Mount Urgull
Emergency services rushed to the scene following reports of the fall.
However, authorities reportedly pronounced the man dead at the scene after what local media described as a "considerable" fall.
Investigators have not yet publicly identified the victim as authorities continue working to notify his family.
The police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Reports also state that emergency crews struggled to reach the location because of the difficult terrain and had to use ladders to access the area.
"We saw this morning that there were Ertzaintza cars and traffic officers, and the road was blocked near the Photography Society," a nearby worker said.
Authorities later transferred the body to the Basque Institute of Legal Medicine for an autopsy.
The Paseo Nuevo area attracts large numbers of tourists, walkers, and climbers due to its coastal views and access to Mount Urgull.
The Area Has Seen Several Fatal Accidents Over the Years
According to El Diario Vasco, the area sits at a height roughly equivalent to 15 stories and experiences heavy pedestrian traffic throughout the year.
While officials say serious incidents remain relatively rare, the location has seen several fatal accidents over the years.
In 2013, 20-year-old Mikel Arzak died after a rockfall on the mountainside.
He had been walking toward the Aquarium area while construction cranes operated nearby on the hillside.
"Several ambulances arrived at the scene, and paramedics attempted resuscitation, but were unsuccessful; he died at the scene," the report reads.
In 2018, a 16-year-old boy suffered "serious injuries" after falling on the La Concha Bay side of the mountain.
Authorities said he fell from the Paseo de los Curas promenade onto the roof of a waterfront home in San Sebastián.
Another fatal accident occurred during the summer of 2019 when a woman fell from Mount Urgull onto the Paseo Nuevo promenade below.
