Travis Kelce Opens Up About The One Thing He Wasn't Ready For In Dating Taylor Swift

Celebrity culture seems absolutely exhausting. In exchange for fame and fortune (the latter isn't always promised), you don't have a ton of privacy. Depending on the scale of fame, it might be okay. Some workarounds and you might have a decent time at a restaurant or driving around. Someone like Travis Kelce might've been hassled before about an autograph. However, now that he's with his girlfriend Taylor Swift, it's a never ending sense of surveillance in his personal life.

It's something that he wasn't particularly prepared for either. The magnifying glass is on him now more than ever, dealing with tabloids, paparazzi. It seems absolutely deflating. It seems like Travis has the hang of it now but it wasn't always this way. Recently, he spoke on the Bussin' With the Boys podcast, where he opens up about having to navigate all these troubles with such a high profile partner.

"Just the paparazzi, that's probably the only thing that I didn't really grasp until you're in it. That's probably the craziest part though," Kelce explains. "Like I'm just playing golf and all of a sudden in the trees there's a guy with a camera. "Like, 'Oh sh-t, I gotta go to the restroom now, I can't just go over here and take a piss.'... Just don't want my meat on Page Six."

In spite of all this, Travis still speaks glowingly of his girl Taylor Swift. He realizes that it might seem a certain way with all the eyes on them. However, at the end of the day, they're just trying to have fun with one another. Lately, Kelce has been showing her more sports now that she has the time in her schedule.

"We're having fun with it, being a couple. It gets thrown out there as it's we're trying to seek the attention every now and then," Travis says. "But we're just enjoying life and having fun, going to hockey games, trying to introduce her to some more of the sports world."
