If you are a TV personality you get to enjoy all the perks of fame. Adoring fans, wealth, and status. However, you also get to endure all of the drawbacks of fame as well. For example, if you make a mistake on air you will never live it down. Perhaps even worse, any awkward moment that you have will live on the internet forever. Mark Consuelos and his wife Kelly Ripa co-host the TV show Live With Kelly And Mark. Thousands of people tune in to catch up with these lovebirds and watch them chit chat about what is going on in the world. However, in a recent episode of the show viewers got to see a lot more than they anticipated.

Mark's was blissfully unaware that his fly was down the entire time he was out on air. Unfortunately his awkward wardrobe malfunction was on full display. Furthermore, Daily Mail shared that at one point during the segment, he leaned back making his undone zipper "even more visible" to the audience.

Eventually, he noticed the mishap and turned to the person he trusts most...his wife. He shared with her the horrible truth, that his zipper had been down the entire time they were live. A graphic appeared on screen giving a momentary reprieve.

Handling It Well

Honestly there are two ways to go about a situation like this. Hide under a rock and never come out because of embarrassment. Or, the better option, laugh about it and move on. Luckily, Mark and Kelly chose the second option. As the couple reappeared on screen they decided to laugh about the awkward wardrobe malfunction.

Kelly looked pointedly at her husband's groin area, letting the audience know she now aware of the situation. She even asked "Did anybody notice that?" To which Mark replies, "No! My fly was down the whole time!"

Rather than dwell on it, Mark simply adjusted and they duo laughed it off. Later in the episode they even stopped to read comments aloud from viewers that noticed the wardrobe malfunction. Honestly, one of the best ways to handle the situation. At least he noticed during the show and he didn't find out after by all of the viewers teasing him online.

Mark's wardrobe mishap was not the first to happen on television and I am sure it will not be the last.
