Uncle Kracker Says Kenny Chesney Once Sent His Private Jet Just To Pick Up The Singer

Kenny Chesney once used his own private jet to give Uncle Kracker a lift for an encore, an incredibly expensive feat that shows how much Chesney wanted his buddy with him.

Uncle Kracker visited Taste of Country Nights, where he regaled them with the story. It's known that Chesney and Kracker are friends, although I don't think many appreciate how deep this must run. According to calculations done by the outlet, Chesney potentially paid around $20,000 to chauffeur Kracker to see him.

Well, more accurately, it was for a performance, but that's still a lot of money. I don't think I'd spend that sort of money to bring a friend round. Sorry, Lee.

Uncle Kracker tells the story, "Kenny was playing Neyland Stadium, which is Knoxville, Tennessee, his hometown, so he was looking to put together some special guests. He called me and asked if I would come out and sing. I'm his encore, and he has some special guests set up."

"When Kenny called me and asked me if I'd come out, he was like, 'I'll send the jet.'"

Kracker jokingly sent "Send it!" in response, and had no idea how series Chesney was.

Chesney Spends 20 Grand For An Uncle Kracker Performance

It's safe to assume that Kracker boarded the plane and attended the performance as his wanted encore.

The outlet mentioned that the Kracker was living in Michigan at the time, so Kracker and the venue were roughly 500 miles apart.

They really did their research in assessing how expensive it really is to fly a private plane, and concluded that the journey there and back cost Chesney likely $20,000. I can't personally fault the calculations, although there are many estimations, naturally.

They also point out that it would have cost only $350 in comparison for a commercial flight. But Chesney really wanted his pal.

The performance likely would have net Chesney much more than 20 grand, although he has the funds to spare even if it didn't. To drop that sort of money on a guest appearance shows that Chesney really performing for the fun of it.

Unless he can scratch off the loss as a business expense.
