Watch Jason Momoa Start a Mosh Pit at Black Sabbath’s Final Show: “An Absolute Savage”

Jason Momoa is clearly a big fan of heavy metal. The actor was in the crowd for the Black Sabbath's final show, where numerous fans captured video of Somoa starting a mosh pit in the middle of the Pantera's set, one of the opening acts for Black Sabbath.

"Jason Momoa a real metalhead! Walked into the center of the pit to mosh with the crowd," one person shares. "Waiting for Tool, Metallica, then Ozzy."

"Been in a mosh pit with Jason Momoa is going on my CV!" says another.

"New footage!" Rock Photography shares. "Jason Momoa inside a mosh pit during Pantera's set at Black Sabbath's final concert."

Perhaps the best description of the A Minecraft Movie star comes from user Wu Tang is for the Children, who writes, "Jason Mamoa [sic] was an absolute savage during Pantera's set at Black Sabbath's final show."

The Reason For Black Sabbath's Final Show

Ozzy Osbourne co-founded Black Sabbath in 1968. The band toured for decades, in addition to Osbourne's solo shows. It was his wife, Sharon Osbourne, who suggested the rocker, now 76 years old, bid a final farewell, due to his ongoing battle with Parkinson's disease.

"He's very happy to be coming back and very emotional about this," Sharon reveals to The Sun. "Parkinson's is a progressive disease. It's not something you can stabilize. It affects different parts of the body and it's affected his legs. But his voice is as good as it's ever been."

In another interview, Osbourne's wife of 43 years says the final show is a time of celebration, not sadness, for her husband.

"He's doing great," she tells the BBC. "He's so excited about this, about being with the guys again and all his friends. It's exciting for everyone. Ozzy didn't have a chance to say goodbye to his friends, to his fans, and he feels there's been no full stop. This is his full stop"

Fortunately for his fans, the rocker may not actually be done performing, at least according to a 2023 interview with Rolling Stone UK

"I'm taking it one day at a time, and if I can perform again, I will," Osbourne says. "But it's been like saying farewell to the best relationship of my life."

"I'm not going to get up there and do a half-hearted Ozzy looking for sympathy," he adds.
