Kotb appeared on the Kelly Clarkson Show and detailed her future career plans after leaving Today. Clarkson joked about wondering "What's that b***h doing" after Today. "I was like, 'Because there's no way you're not doing anything.' You're me, you like problems, you like working."

The TV broadcaster then mentioned getting into wellness. "I kind of got hooked in the wellness space, like a couple of years ago. I started doing stuff that I thought seemed woo woo and weird, and then all of a sudden as I was doing it, I was like, 'Wait, I feel calmer, I feel better.'"
With this new interest in health and wellness, Kotb announced that she would be starting her own wellness app and company. It will involve "retreats and a podcast," as well as doing things that you love together.
"It's not like going to Mexico with your girls, which is fun," Kotb added. "But this is something that when you leave you'll go like, 'Oh my gosh. I feel transformed. I feel different.' So I'm in the building process of that."
Clarkson encouraged Kotb's idea of building a community for that type of wellness. "I need—a lot of us need—to be better at that," Clarkson said.
Kotb revealed that she would be launching her project sometime this Spring. The broadcaster didn't reveal anything more about her upcoming project during that interview. But since Spring is just on the horizon, if you're looking for a wellness app like that, keep your eyes peeled for the official launch.
Later in the interview, Kotb went into detail on how she's practicing wellness during the new year. Clarkson mentioned how Kotb liked setting intentions. "I like quotes," Kotb said. "I like intentions. I think for me, one of mine is I love community.
Now that Kotb lives in the suburbs, she appreciates the community a lot more. She's not just expecting Amazon delivery to be at her door, more often now it's an actual person. Perhaps this sense of community is something Kotb will implement in her wellness app.
