For anyone still sticking out hope for Ariana Grande to return to The Voice as a judge one day, I have some bad news. Not only has she said she'll never return, she's also revealed exactly why. And it's pretty on-brand, to be fair.

The Wicked actress visited the Las Culturistas podcast to talk about the at-the-time upcoming film and more. The episode aired on November 6.
Near the tail-end of the podcast, they bring up the hit competition, where she was a judge for the 21st season of the show in 2021. It seems one season was all she could handle, and it makes sense considering her reasons for never returning.
Rogers brought up that he sometimes watches old clips of The Voice, and asked the superstar directly, "Would you ever go back and do [The Voice] again and do you think you mostly did it because the chair spun?"
After Grande confirmed that the spinning chairs was definitely a fun perk to have on. She said, "I got so emotionally attached to everyone, that's my problem."
She goes on to say that she can't really be a coach on The Voice, as she "really gets in there" with her contestants.
"I love everyone so much, I love meeting people, and I felt so invested," she recalled.
Ariana Grande Still Keeps In Touch With Her Former 'The Voice' Team Members
So Ariana Grande won't hit The Voice again as she can't stand to see people go. It makes sense and must be quite tough for someone to axe singers you're so impressed with and have grown close to.
In the podcast, Grande also explains that she still keeps contact with former 'Team Ariana' members.
"I see them all on Instagram," she says.
"Do you still keep in touch with them?" Rogers asks.
"I've been really busy. I haven't really been in touch with anyone," she resigns, wishing that she had the time to.
"But I love them, I see them on Instagram, I like their posts, I see their things, I see what they're up to," she explains. It's clear she desires more interaction with them all, but can currently only spectate their lives.
To prove her point, she lists off some of their recent activities, from babies being born to solo music careers. She still really cares, so it makes sense why she could never return to The Voice.
