Disney World is supposed to be the place where dreams come true. But for one woman, it was here while eating one of their burgers, that divorce became inevitable.

Sometimes, it can be hard to realise a relationship is toxic. Bad habits can form, and too many things can be let slide. For Jubilee Dawn, the realisation came while tucking into a burger in Disney World, ending in divorce.
The woman often talks on TikTok about her relationship and journey. From being brought up in a cult and being 'given' a husband by God to finally escaping from the toxicity of that arranged marriage, she's got some stories to tell.
Her first husband was a man she met in her old church. After becoming married, it became clear he was abusive. However, because of the cult surrounding her, breaking free was not an easy task. She had ingrained pressures of religion, as well as his overpowering presence in her life.
However, there comes a snapping point for most people, and hers was over a burger at Disney World.
Burger With A Side Of Divorce
It was after running a marathon in Disney World with her husband, cousin, and young nephew that they all decided to stop for a burger. Already, her husband, referred to as Ted, had been trying to dominate the day. But it wasn't until she shared a bite of her burger with her cousin that he lashed out.
As she recalled in her video, she cut off a piece of burger and offered it to her cousin on a fork. This was too much for Ted, and he went into a mood. He refused to talk to her and began flirting with the waitress. After the meal, he exploded at her outside the restaurant.
He believed that by offering her cousin a piece of burger, she had undermined him as the man of the table. His fragile ego had become damaged by a simple act of human sharing. He screamed and shouted at her outside the burger spot in Disney World in front of kids and her family.
She later asked him if he would behave the way he did in front of their kids. His response was 'if she deserved it.' He then went on to assault her again. His behavior surrounding the burger station was enough for her to call it a day and file for a divorce.
She's free and happy now. She's working to undo the damage done by her religious upbringing and has found her own path.
