WWE Star Speaks Out After Brutally Getting Cut From Roster

Imagine being fired from your job after more than a decade. With such seniority, you couldn't possibly picture being unceremoniously dumped. Not to mention if you're beloved by those you work with. However, WWE can be especially ruthless when it comes to cutting their wrestlers. Oftentimes, they'll lousily cite budget cuts as the reason why they fired someone. It's a cold game with them. Still, they might've gone too far by canning one of their most beloved wrestlers.

Recently, rapper and wrestler Ron Killings, best known as R-Truth, revealed the company decided to fire him. Despite the sad circumstances, he thanks everyone he worked with and all the fans along the way. "I want to thank WWE for the ride, but MOSTLY I want to thank each and EVERYONE OF YOU who was along for the ride. Thank you for all the love, support, and appreciation you have given me over the years. Thank you," he tweets.

WWE Fires One of Their Most Beloved Wrestlers

R-Truth first debuted for the company as K-Kwik in 1999 before departing in the early 2000s. Returning in 2008, he caught fire with audiences ever since. Fans adored Killings for his impeccable comedic timing and overall silliness in WWE. He thrived in making the best of the best break live on TV when he did segments.

Additionally, Ron Killings was beloved by his fellow wrestlers in the locker room, too. They deeply respect his longevity, a fixture on the roster even at 53 years old. Moreover, he brought a sense of levity and tons of smiles to everyone he ever encountered. One fellow WWE star Zelina Vega gives a perfect tribute to encapsulate his impact.

"Thank you Truth. For everything. Everything you are as a performer but also everything you are as a person. You always have an ear and a hug for everyone, you were always so kind to me whether it was an extra just coming in looking to you for advice or as a co-worker getting to laugh with you every week. You're forever a star, a genius, a pro and someone who's presence will always be felt. You're cemented in history as one of the BEST. Love you!!" the WWE star writes.
