"After 10 years, doctors finally caught my SVT, and I was able to get a heart procedure done! Three hours later, and I'm on the mend," she wrote.
SVT is short for supraventricular tachycardia. It's a medical term for a "very fast or erratic heartbeat that affects the heart's upper chambers," per the Mayo Clinic.
Green has struggled to start 2026, suffering an ankle injury in February. However, that hasn't kept her off our screens. She's made consistent appearances on SmackDown since her injury, often sitting in a wheelchair.
However, we shouldn't expect to see her for at least the next few weeks. After all, she's just undergone what is likely classed as a major surgery. She will need time to heal up, and then there will likely be a testing and rehabilitation phase.
It's worth noting that Green recently stood out of her wheelchair to confront Tiffany Stratton on a recent episode of SmackDown. So, there's a good chance a storyline between the two stars is waiting for Green once she's cleared for in-ring action.
Former WWE Star Rikishi Believes Chelsea Green Can Be a Main Event Star
Chelsea Green is in her second stint with the WWE. She's become one of the most popular names on the company's roster in recent years. Furthermore, her in-ring work has proven that she belongs in some of the top spots the WWE women's division has to offer.
During a recent edition of his "Off The Top" podcast, former WWE star Rikishi shared his belief that Green has all the tools to be a main event-level talent.
"I feel 100% that Chelsea Green is a main eventer," Rikishi said. "It's not that Chelsea can't do the work. It's not that Chelsea is not a prime talent performer. But the thing is, how are you writing stuff for this girl? Give Chelsea a fair opportunity. Build Chelsea up as much as you would give Charlotte Flair an opportunity. Give Chelsea that big, crazy entrance. I mean, really put it all out for her and don't worry about the work. Let her do that. She's got that on point."
Currently, Green is primarily used as a mid-card talent. Now that her heart issue has been resolved, perhaps WWE creative will begin to push her higher up the card. Because, as Rikishi said, she's got all the tools needed to be a top draw for the company.
