On social media, Reilly apparently confirmed that it is indeed happening. This comes after she and Cole Hauser both reportedly inked a deal to play both Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler on the show.
Up until now, Reilly has remained relatively silent on the possibility of continuing the role. However, she did let one word slip, and honestly, it's perfect. Following the finale, Reilly responded to one fan wanting to know the dish on the spinoff.
In a tribute post to the show, a fan commented, "So is the rumour in the UK that you and Rip are making a spin off season not true! Whatever happens I've loved every second of every episode in every season. You guys are all amazing!!" the fan commented.
Reilly replied, "True." She also added a white heart emoji.
Kelly Reilly On 'Yellowstone'
As far as the post itself, Reilly focused on commemorating the closing of the show.
In the tribute post, Reilly wrote, "Words cannot convey how I feel about the people I got to work and create with.
"The support from the crew and the trust and dedication of the cast. The words I got to say and the woman I got to inhabit the past seven years. It changed me. It lit me up. It challenged me in every way possible and I will forever be grateful for it," she continued.
She also said, "For Taylor Sheridan who took a chance on me and continued to write her in ways I got to feel on fire as an actor. Thank you the audience we made it for, for being on this journey with us."
Previously, Reilly weighed in on if she would be interested in playing Beth again.
In Nov., she told Town and Country, "I loved this season. There were some really different territories to explore, so I'm not clinging to her. I'm happy to put her back in her padlocked box."
"I am definitely interested in Beth, and who she is after some things have happened," she shared. "Who is she in peace? As an actor you're like, 'Ooh, let me at that.' Wouldn't it be fun to watch Beth go to therapy?"
