You Can Book Rascal Flatts To Perform At Your Wedding — You Just Couldn't Afford It

The Rascal Flatts, for the right price, will agree to perform at your wedding. But the price is so astonishing, that it's still not an option for the likes of us, anyway.

Jay DeMarcus sat down with Evan Paul on Taste of Country Nights, where the topic of wedding performances surfaced. The Rascal Flatts have never officially announced that they'd perform at weddings, but DeMarcus was asked what the band would charge to perform at a reception.

Before asking DeMarcus this, however, Paul recalled the time Darius Rucker told them of one of his wedding performances. A couple of years ago, Rucker visited the show, where he revealed that he charges a million dollars.

And not even as a joke. Rucker stuck by his response and has had people take him up on the offer before.

When telling DeMarcus of this, he laughed. Leaning into the camera, DeMarcus joked that the Rascal Flatts would have to charge $3 million, one million for each of them.

Naturally, no one has spent that kind of money to have the Rascal Flatts perform at their wedding, as the figure was plucked from thin air there and then. But they have performed at a wedding before.

The Rascal Flatts Crashed A Wedding Once

On the subject of wedding performances, DeMarcus told the story of the time they performed at a wedding in 2017.

Apparently, a Wisconsin fan wrote to them, asking them to perform at her wedding.

"We were so compelled by story that we were playing a show that was close to where she was, so we took some cameras and we crashed her wedding," he recalled. "We ended up singing 'Broken Road.'"

"I was so grateful that we did it, it was something I was dreading," he said. Although thankfully those feelings were dissipated upon arrival.

"I saw how much it meant to her family and she and her groom, that it was so cool, and I'm so glad we did it."

Weddings are already days to remember. Although I'm sure the Rascal Flatts made sure they'd stay firm memories for a long time to come. And if you've got a few million jingling around your back pocket, you can book them too.
