Recently, the band posted a video on their shared social media accounts, a clean slate for the band for their next era of records. "There's no way to sum up what the last chapter has meant to us," The Zac Brown Band writes. "We've played thousands of shows, crossed countless state lines, and seen every kind of weather and welcome you could imagine.
Whether you saw us when we were playing covers in Georgia dive bars or you just found us on your drive home last month... You've been a part of this journey," Zac Brown and the crew continue. "You've sung the words, screamed the choruses, cried with us, danced with us, and let this music into your life. That kind of connection is not lost on us. It never will be.

For the band, it all stems back to their devotion to the fans and vice versa. If it wasn't for the fans, they wouldn't be able to continue. So any departure is a means of thank you. If they take it break, it's because they're going to come back stronger.
