"Dear Miss" has been a song that true Zach Bryan fans have been aware of for a long time. It was never recorded, but was teased over a year ago. So when his fans caught a whiff of him finally recording and releasing the song, it was as though Christmas came early.
However, he wasn't just going to release the song willy-nilly. Like with "Blue Jean Baby," he made the release conditional. He posted to Instagram, saying that he'd release "Dear Miss" if the Eagles win against the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl, and the Eagles scored a resounding 40-22.
The moment the Eagles won, his fans took to his Instagram and X to ask repeatedly for the song. And at long last, "Dear Miss" was released to Spotify and other streaming services. After hours of fans demanding the drop of the song the moment the game was called, his fans could at least listen to the coveted track.
He announced the news on his Instagram story the moment it was released.
Zach Bryan Bombarded With Demands Over "Dear Miss"
Upon the Eagles winning, Zach Bryan made a post of him and his friends celebrating. Hilariously, the comments were bombarded with fans asking for the song.
"Im waiting on that song singer boy," one wrote, making me almost spit out my cup of tea.
"Yay birds! ok song now please," wrote another.
When Zach Bryan hinged the release of "Blue Jean Baby" on the Eagles winning their NFC Championship Game, fans speculated he'd do something even more spectacular should they win the Super Bowl. Fans, and even I myself, thought he may release the album or EP that everyone is sure is around the corner.
Although it was just another single and not the next album, fans were still ecstatic over it.
"So are we getting an album or what," another wrote, needing more content.
It's still unclear when he's going to be dropping the next album, but we've been swimming in songs as of late. So it must be soon.
