In an embarrassing move, Zach Bryan posted old text messages from his ex Brianny "Chickenfry" LaPaglia. And in usual fashion, she responded with reason.

It has been months since Zach Bryan "blindsided" his ex after announcing their breakup on social media in October 2024. Since then, Chickenfry has been very open about what she experienced.
Although Zach Bryan scarcely made any public comment on it (aside from a few sly jabs), he decided to post two text messages she sent him during their breakup. One was a lengthy message full of support and respect, and the other was a message of her laying out her options regarding the NDA she had been offered.
Why Zach Bryan decided to post these strange messages out of nowhere at 7 am this morning is beyond me.
Brianna Chickenfry wished Zach Bryan "the best," and hoped that he'd "see past all the bulls--t of [his] life" to see that she was always in his corner. She offered him to lean on her family should he need to, without her attached, and she hoped he'd "finish off the last leg of tour strong" like he "always does."
Nothing but love, respect, and honesty.
Then, in what he thought was an 'owned' moment, he posted her message detailing the three options she faced. To receive $12 million or a Duxbury house to accept an NDA on the relationship, or to "air out everything" she experienced by beginning a "messy war."
However, this message was apparently taken out of context.
Brianna Chickenfry Answers Zach Bryan's Strange Crash Out
Over a series of stories, Brianna Chickenfry yet again defended herself over the breakup.
Her first two stories were to make fun of the fact that Bryan has her living "rent-free" in his head and that it's no surprise he's blacked out at 7 am.
She shared the text message of his manager offering her the NDA, to show that she wasn't making demands or threats in the text she sent him of her three options. She was relaying what his management had offered her, and the alternative path she could go down.
However, she explained that she didn't opt for either NDA or for the "messy war," as she has "morals." Many will confuse her sharing her experiences for her engaging in this "messy war," but there is a difference between warning others for what to look out for and going on a smear campaign.
"I am simply responding to him attacking me. I want nothing to do with this man," she also wrote. Apparently, Zach Bryan also commented something negative about her on TikTok the week before.
It's unclear why Zach Bryan has resorted to this. Chickenfry speculated he may be getting angry over her recent bikini pictures. This does track with his previous behaviour.
"What I went through is not drama or tea. I nearly killed myself," she reminded.
