Since a video of him singing "Spilled Whiskey" went viral in 2018, country artist Zach Top has been captivating hearts with his voice and good looks, earning him the title of one of country music's biggest heartthrobs. Women will do anything to get the 27-year-old's attention, even if they have to spell it out with a crazy sign at one of the country singer's shows.

Although some might argue that the heartthrob factor has contributed to Top's rise to stardom, there are others who may not be too thrilled about the female obsession surrounding the country singer. That would be no other than Top's girlfriend, Amelia Taylor.
We all know that fans can get pretty rowdy when it comes to their favorite singers, and Zach Top's female fans are no different. One video shows a fan holding up a sign for Top at one of his shows that says, "Zach Top, no, let me on top!" and another that says, "Sit on your face?"
Recently, Top's girlfriends took to TikTok to express their feelings about the signs, sparking some controversy among Top's fans. She posted a video of the crowd at one of her boyfriend's shows, saying, "scanning the crowd for all these wild texts chicks are holding up." The video was captioned, "We need a lesson on self respect fr."
Top's Girlfriend Addresses Death Threats After Recent TikTok
Taylor and Top's relationship has also been subject to numerous rumors online recently, including one that claims the 27-year-old singer met when she was in high school, and that she's currently only 19.
@ameliagtaylor I think I learn something new about myself on here every day. I thought I'd address this in a subtle manner since everyone is so curious. Not that I believe my personal life needs to be made public, but simply because the de@Th threats, su!cide wishes, and assault threats are getting a little out of control. Being with someone in the public eye doesn't cancel out the fact that I'm human with real human feelings. I'm not 19. I've never been anyone's mistress. I didn't meet my boyfriend when I was in highschool. I specifically meant the signs that are *self-degrading* to the beautiful girls holding them up and objectifying another human simply because of his talent? Disliking another human is fine! Differing opinions make the world go round! However, the de*th threats and su!cide wishes are not okay- Let's remember that everything we read on the internet isn't always true! Humans are human- they make mistakes, they're imperfect. It's simply the beauty of being human! If you're constantly sending hate my way, of course I'm going to block you. No human is numb to the hurt that words can cause- Learn to love. It makes life a lot more enjoyable? I just wanna travel and pet kangaroos??

Just yesterday, Taylor posted another TikTok debunking some of these rumors that have been circulating on the internet about the nature of her and Top's relationship. The influencer said, "I think I learn something new about myself on here every day. "
She went on to address that she's "not 19. I've never been anyone's mistress. I didn't meet my boyfriend when I was in high school."
She also expanded on her feelings about the signs at some of Top's concerts, saying, "I specifically meant the signs that are self-degrading to the beautiful girls holding them up and objectifying another human simply because of his talent."
After the post about the signs, Top's girlfriend has been receiving "death threats and suicide wishes," which she says are "not okay." She ended her caption by saying, "Learn to love. It makes life a lot more enjoyable."
What We Know About Amelia Taylor So Far
Taylor and Top have been dating since November 2024, when they made their relationship public on the red carpet at the CMA Awards on November 20. Previously, Taylor had also shared a TikTok publicly debuting their relationship.
Taylor is a model and influencer from Mississippi, with a combined following of over 70,000 on both Instagram and TikTok. She's modeled for brands like House of Baretti, Marc Defang, and Amundsen Sports, and is currently pursuing a degree at Mississippi State University.
Top was excited to hype up his girlfriend before hard-launching their relationship at the CMAs, where he was nominated for New Artist of the Year. He told Taste of Country that his girlfriend would "stun everybody" and that he hoped fans would "look at her" instead of him.
Hopefully, fans can learn to find the balance between showing affection for their favorite artists without angering their significant others, but we can't make any promises any time soon.
