I don't know that political affiliation is going to help pay the bills. On one hand, it's vital for you to stand up for what you believe in everyday. Most people don't stand for much of anything except self-preservation. So it's usually refreshing when someone is unabashedly themselves, so long as it isn't actively harmful. However, Zachary Levi might be going a little deep in his devotion to Donald Trump. He's laying it all out on the line, willing to tank his entire career if it means he can plant his flag in the MAGA movement.

Recently, Levi spoke on The Megyn Kelly Show where things get as explicitly conservative as you might imagine with the former Fox News host. However, the Shazam actor leans into it and thinks it's the most important thing he's done with his life. "I felt peace because I knew that this was more important than saving my career," Levi argues. "I think we too often fall into these paradigms, these thought processes of self-preservation, and it is not good. We need to be wise, and we want to survive and we want to live and flourish and all those things, but we can't merely make decisions off of, 'Well I hope nothing bad happens to me.' You got to sacrifice.'"
Zachary Levi Argues His Trump Affiliation is More Important Than His Career and Livelihood
Ultimately, the actor feels like the Hollywood machine is rapidly rusting and eventually, it'll all fall apart anyway. So in that sense, what is he really saving at the end of the day? "What am I really afraid of at the end of the day? That I'm somehow going to lose jobs in an industry that I already believe is completely falling apart and that won't even be creating jobs for me in a few years anyway?" Levi says. "Like come on. If I lose all of my acting career, and I hope I don't, and so far I haven't... ?But none of that matters. If the world goes off a cliff, what does it matter?"
Zachary concludes by fervently arguing that he's on the right side of history because he believes Trump is a man of his word. "And more than that, these are some of the things I was kind of even secretly hoping he was going to do because, d--n it, we do deserve to know what's going on," Levi adds.
