7 Best Country Songs About Drinking A Beer

While there are a plethora of songs about beer and beer drinking these seven are some of my personal favorites. So here they are, in no particular order, the best country songs you should be drinking beer to.

1. Beer Tastes Better: Hailey Whitters

This country melody is all about the beauty of your hometown. While we may not love it when we are in high school, Whitters reminds us all how great a full circle moment can be with the following lyrics.

Don't beer taste better in your hometown?
Shootin' the breeze, old memories down
Seventeen, we couldn't wait to get out
now we're all comin' back

2. Beer Never Broke My Heart: Luke Combs

In this song Luke Combs reminds us that not only is beer delicious but it will never hurt you. Well, at least in the break your heart sense. This song shares all the different things that may have tugged on Combs's heartstrings, but it was nothing a nice cold beer couldn't fix.

Longneck, ice cold beer never broke my heart
Like diamond rings and football teams
Have torn this boy apart
Like a neon dream it just dawned on me
The bars and this guitar
And longneck, ice cold beer never broke my heart

3. Drink In My Hand: Eric Church

I think this is one of those country songs about drinking beer that everyone can get behind. Granted the lyrics talk about putting a drink in your hand, not necessarily beer, but we can imagine an ice cold beer. Also, in the music video most people are holding beers so we can draw some context clues. The song talks about the struggle of getting through the 9-5 work week. Once Friday hits, all we want is a drink in our hand and a relaxing weekend.

Early Monday morning, 'til Friday at five
Man I work, work, work but I don't climb, climb, climb
Boss man can shove that overtime up his can
All I wanna do is put a drink in my hand

4. Beers And Sunshine: Darius Rucker

I mean come on, the title says it all. What could be a better county song about drinking beer than a song called beer and sunshine? My personal favorite line from this song is, "Yeah, the only BS I need is beers and sunshine." But honestly the entire song is a vibe.

Kick back in my flip-flops
Don't owe nothing to the lender
Nothing spinning in the blender
The only thing on my agenda is

Beers and sunshine
Bonfires and summertime
Back porch nights in South Carolina

5. No I In Beer: Braid Paisley

Not only is this a good song to crack one open to but it has a great message, we are all in this together. Whether you are happy, sad, stressed, or somewhere in between you can throw back a beer with a friend.

Wherever you are tonight
Whatever you're goin' through
Grab a long neck bottle or a big old pint
And let's all have a few

'Cause we're all in this together
To me it's all so clear
Drinkin' oughta be a team effort

There is no "I" in beer

6. Beer In The Headlights: Luke Bryan

Nothing says partying like a beautiful woman, a county road, and an ice cold beer. Or at least that's the vibes I am getting from Luke Bryan's Beer In The Headlights. The catchy tune talks about a woman who captured his interest and how good she looks dancing with her beer.

Sittin' right here, out here in the middle of nowhere
I swear I've never seen, ever seen nothing like you anywhere
I got the key turned back, windows down, I'm turning it up and your
Spinnin' around, takin' a sip, swingin' your hips, girl your looking so
Fine, with your beer in the headlights

7. Straight Out Of Cold Beer: Blake Shelton

The title of this song is exactly what you don't want to happen to you at a party. Regardless of the title, this upbeat song is the perfect country song for drinking some beer.

You know we're straight out of that long week work
At night, everybody wanna party
All night long, bonfire on the back 40
In the middle of nowhere, ain't nobody leavin' here
Til we're straight out of cold beer, straight out of cold beer
