Taylor Sheridan hasn't exactly shied away from killing Yellowstone characters off as we approach the final episode, and it's been too much for some viewers to bear. A photo posted by a star of the show, however, may give us insight into who lives.

Cole Hauser, who plays Rip Wheeler, posted a photo to his Instagram of his last day on set with his fellow stars. It's not unusual for actors to do this, as their time with their cherished costars comes to a close. However, this photo shows who was on set when filming wrapped, indicating they might be the characters who survive.
Other actors who played characters that have been killed off, like Denim Richards or Kevin Costner, aren't in the final picture. So the ones who are present are likely to survive Sheridan's trigger-happy plotting.
Do note, however, that an actor could still be on set even if their character was killed off. Killing a beloved character in a tense climax wouldn't be beyond Sheridan, so don't get your hopes up too high that all of these beloved Yellowstone characters will survive. Just sayin'.

As the series finishes, many actors are posting photos to send off the series as fans eagerly await the ending. Many remain hopeful that a season 6 is possible, although it's likely that the story will only continue through spin-off shows.
"Now we know which characters don't die ??," comments one fan, kickstarting the theorizing.
Another eagle-eyed viewer also noticed the absence of Jamie Dutton, played by Wes Bentley. They reckon this means he gets killed in the finale, "Beth is getting Jamie in the last episode for sure."
The comment section has since been full of people complimenting the show and cast and pining for a season six.
"OK but they're advertising the finale as the SEASON finale not the SERIES finale?....just sayin' ?," points out one viewer.
"Obsessed. Y'all are INCREDIBLE???," compliments another fan.
Out of all the many comments begging and hoping for another season, there are also many criticising the latest episodes, claiming that Sheridan's ego has ruined the series, especially with his more established role in the penultimate episode.
The final episode of Yellowstone airs on December 15, so we'll just have to wait and see who lives.
