Actors love working with Taylor Sheridan. Unless you're Kevin Costner, there's usually not much to bicker about on the sets of his TV shows. Oftentimes, it's quite the opposite; there's always tons of praise in how personable and understanding he is. After a hit like Yellowstone, it makes sense why actors and actresses are flocking to work him. It looks like his new show with Billy Bob Thornton, Landman, has some legs to be another hit. One actress expresses how seamless it is working with Sheridan on the show.

Recently, Paulina Chavez spoke with Taste of Country for an interview. There, she talks about her role as Ariana in the show and how she navigates the character. Moreover, she admits that working with Taylor Sheridan allows her lots of liberty to explore different nuances in her character. "From the time that I auditioned to the time that we actually shot was almost a year, and so I really got to live with Ariana and always finding new things about her," Chavez says.
Taylor Sheridan Allows Actors to Be Flexible With Their Characters
Apparently, Taylor Sheridan didn't just drop the script and leave her to figure out what to do with the character either. Paulina shares that there's plenty of avenues to collaborate and see how an actor's vision lines up with his own. "Her story is so special, she's so resilient, and I'm so excited for the audience to see that part of her. [Taylor Sheridan] was always a phone call away if I ever had any questions about a certain scene, or how he wanted it executed," Chavez reveals. "And I think that's beautiful. and it just shows how much he really cares about the content that he's putting out."
It makes sense why Sheridan's shows work so seamlessly. He captures the fans' hearts with epic scaled dramas and he gets his actors to invest 110% into his projects.
