The Inaugural Crypto Ball, on January 17, is an inaugural event to celebrate Donald Trump, "America's first 'crypto president,'" according to their website. The ball, celebrating and promoting cryptocurrencies, included a musical lineup that featured Snoop Dogg, a prominent anti-Trump celebrity.

Seeing Snoop perform at the inauguration event shocked everyone. And not just because Snoop attended rallies for Kamala Harris.

In 2017, Snoop called out and made fun of artists performing at Trump's first inauguration. "I'm gonna roast the f--k outta you," he said to performers he called "ji--boo" and "Uncle Tom." Snoop believed that the black community especially shouldn't be entertaining the idea of supporting Trump.

Also, lest we forget, Snoop included a mock assassination in one of his music videos, "Lavender (Nightfall Remix)".

Yet another example of his anti-Trump attitude can be seen in another video, where he says, "Ain't no way you can vote for Donald Trump." Despite this dense history, Snoop performed at a Trump inauguration event. What gives?

Internet Reacts To Snoop Dogg Performing At Trump Inauguration Event

Naturally, everyone hasn't taken kindly to Snoop Dogg going back on years of his own rhetoric. They took to the comments to share their thoughts.

"I can't stand that complete phony opportunist," writes one.

"D--n shame to see Snoop stoop just for the bag. What a fall," another says.

"I'm so f--king disappointed in Snoop," simply says one more.

It's not only Democrats and fans who are upset with Snoop. People on both sides are shocked are angered that he performed.

"A slap in the face to every artist who stuck their necks out for Trump and MAGA — and for the truth," writes a Trump supporter. Considering what Snoop had to say about Trump and his supporters, Snoop is the last person they'd want to see.

"Snoop Dog in 2017 doing a mock execution of Trump in his video. Now he's performing at his inauguration. I don't forget or forgive so easily. All these a--holes are in it for themselves," writes another.

Snoop Dogg has upset everyone on either side for his callous hypocrisy. He has yet to say anything about it.
