It's been a rough week for Billy Ray Cyrus. Although the singer appeared excited to perform at an Inauguration event, the end result left a lot to be desired. Beyond just technical difficulties, Billy Ray befuddled many with some of his behavior at the event.

He appeared to be a bit confused on stage, and his voice certainly didn't hit the mark. Concerns for his health popped up soon after the event. Now, even his ex Firerose is speaking out about the performance. She claims that Billy Ray Cyrus often acted the same during their relationship.
I should note that the two had a messy divorce, firing shots at each other in the public. Firerose is hardly an unbiased source here. But she did express concern for her ex.
"What's being seen in public now reflects much of what I experienced in private during our relationship," Firerose told Page Six. "It's very sad to see those same struggles continue for him, but I'm glad the truth is coming to light — for his potential good because healing is only possible when you confront the truth and accept there's a problem."
Billy Ray Cyrus Draws Concern
She's not the first person in Billy Ray Cyrus's personal life to express that something is wrong with the singer. Following the performance, Billy Ray's son Trace wrote a public plea to his father. He said he barely recognized the man he is anymore.
He wrote, "Since my earliest memories all I can remember is being obsessed with you and thinking you were the coolest person ever. I wanted to be just like you. The day you adopted me was the happiest day of my life. Sadly the man that I wanted so desperately to be just like I barely recognize now. It seems this world has beaten you down and it's become obvious to everyone but you. You may be upset with me for posting this but I really could care less at this point."
Meanwhile, he also said that he is worried about Billy Ray and his current behavior. He expressed that he hopes that the singer gets clean.
He continued, "Me and the girls have been genuinely worried about you for years but you've pushed all of us away. Noah desperately has wanted you to be a part of her life and you haven't even been there for her. That's your baby girl. She deserves better. Somehow just like me she still idolizes you though. We are all hanging on to memories of the man we once knew & hoping for the day he returns. You're not healthy Dad & everyone is noticing it. Just like I showed up for you at mamaws funeral when you didn't expect me to I'm still here right now."
