Miranda Lambert Makes Up A Hilarious Song On The Spot For Her Horse: "Everyone’s A Songwriter When The Vodka Hits"

Miranda Lambert has just done something that all pet owners can relate to. Making up a song for your beloved pets is the ultimate sign of affection, and even those who write songs for a living make them just as silly as we do.

I remember repurposing existing songs to relate them to my portly pug. Although she never knew what I was saying, I'm sure she was impressed by them. Similarly, it looks like Miranda Lambert's horse was a big fan of what she was hilariously laying down.

In a clip shared with her Instagram, Lambert is sat on her horse and making up a song. "Everyone's a songwriter when the vodka hits..." she wrote in her caption, suggesting she was at least a little tipsy or merry when she was on the horse.

This'll be the second story I've written today that involves country musicians and vodka. A meaningless coincidence, but a strange one.

"He's a cool horse yes he is, he can walk the dusty trail, he can run just like the wind, with his auburn mane and tail," is the extent of the song. For an improvised tune, it's pretty good, but I suppose she does write songs for a living.

She even did a rendition of the backing track, which my improvised pet-songs sorely lack.

Fans React To Miranda Lambert's Next Leading Single

Calling this tune her next leading single is a bit of a stretch, I know. I'm just manifesting it into existence over here.

Her fans took to the comments to share in the joy of the moment.

"Okay I thought run was a masterpiece but this.. this might just top it all.." wrote one fan. And I have to wholeheartedly agree.

"Singing songs for/about your pets is just an unwritten rule every pet parent follows I believe, some are just better than others and this here is a masterpiece," commented another. No pets are allowed to exist without having their own anthems.

"I do this with my own horse at least once a day," admits a fan.

"I have a feeling he is more than use to this," says one more.
