Hiker Does A Double Take After Running Into George Strait Doppelganger

Sometimes you see a doppelganger so perfect that you don't even realize it's a doppelganger. Someone posted a video of a George Strait look-alike, and people really believed it was a real sighting of the singer.

A hiker on TikTok filmed a cowboy riding past him on a trail. He took the moment to record him, as anyone does when encountering a real cowboy. However, this one looked real familiar...

The cowboy looked just like George Strait. Black shirt, jean jacket, cream hat, and a strikingly similar face. I feel like I've seen George Strait in that exact outfit before, but I just can't put my finger on it. The doppelganger nodded to the hiker, not stopping for pleasantries.

"Running into George Strait while hiking," the on-screen caption read. The hiker did clarify in the description, "Jk not really him but looked just like him."

It appears that the audience who saw the video largely ignored the description, as they carpet-bombed the comments with questions and statements as if that really was the king of country. Come on guys, we really need to do better than this.

If the hiker didn't clarify, however, then the comments would be forgiven. They really do look similar.

Fans Confuse George Strait Doppelganger With The Real Deal

Many of the comments under the video hilariously believe the cowboy really is George Strait. They took to the comments to share their thoughts.

"I would cry FR he's been my favorite country artists all my life," wrote one.

"That's wild," simple commented another.

"I would have fainted," another said.

Not everyone was convinced, however, and took to the comments to argue that the cowboy isn't actually George Strait. Again, a read of the caption would clarify that the poster knew this.

"Pretty sure not him and if so, why you trespassing on his property?" questioned one.

"George Strait doesn't have white hair!" yelled another.

"Idk if that is actually him," commented someone else.

Others simply took the chance to throw a joke toward the doppelganger.

"He's looking for the ocean front property in Arizona," joked one.

"That's Buddy Jackson from the road crew!" exclaimed another.

"This is giving we have George strait at home," laughed one more.
