A sweet Indiana Nana, Sheryl Lynne Pol, passed peacefully in her home on February 21 at 77 years old. Although this is a tragic event that will have deeply affected the family, her obituary has maintained the woman's sense of humor.
After a lengthy and lighthearted account of Sheryl, the obituary rings out a couple of hilarious lines that are sure to take you back.
The most iconic being, "In lieu of flowers, please flirt with a stranger much younger than yourself!" This line, naturally, has people all over the internet mourning the loss of her and her personality.
In the obituary also is, "Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services to help Nana achieve her lifelong dream of having a 'smokin' hot body.'"
And finally, "Sheryl posthumously apologizes to Joann's Fabric for her recent lack of shopping which likely led to their nationwide closure."
What a woman. Although Sheryl can't possible have written her own obituary, you can't help but feel she somehow had a hand in creating it.
A woman on TikTok found the obituary and recited the funny lines. The video has gone super viral, being seen over 2 million times. Due to this sudden exposure, Sheryl can expect a few more thoughts and prayers than anticipated.
