Blake Shelton Crashes Drake Milligan's Set To Sing Some George Strait Together

I didn't think it was possible for a headliner to crash their own opening singer's act, but that's exactly what Blake Shelton did to Drake Milligan.

Drake Milligan, an up-and-coming artist, has been opening for Blake Shelton on his latest string of concerts. But on the latest concert, Shelton crashed the stage to perform with him.

As was usual, Milligan finished up his set, but before he could head back to the dressing room to allow Shelton to perform, the country singer stepped onto the stage. Crashing his set, Shelton shocked both Milligan and the audience.

In a clip he shared to his TikTok, you can see Shelton and Milligan perform George Strait's "All My Ex's Live in Texas." With brilliant smiles, they crooned over the mic together, a pair of naturals. Knowing that the moment wasn't planned, their chemistry on set is even more infectious.

Milligan captioned the video, writing, "As if opening up for @Blake Shelton wasn't cool enough..."

Fans React To Surprise Duet From Blake Shelton And Drake Milligan

Their duet would have been awesome to watch live, but the audience online loved it, too. Fans took to the comments to share their thoughts on the video.

"Drake, you look like you need a dance partner there at the end," laughed one. At the end of the clip, Milligan can be seen getting his groove on. It shows that he was genuinely enjoying the moment, and got lost in the music.

"I love it! Looks like y'all both had a phenomenal time," exclaimed a fan. They had such a good time it rubs off on you.

"I was there!! you were amazing," supported another fan. I wish I could have been there just for their duet.

This is what music is all about. The opening acts don't always get quality time with the stars they're opening for, so it's awesome to see Shelton surprise Milligan to sing with him.

What's even better about it is that Shelton didn't just crash Milligan's performance; he extended it. When someone like Shelton encourages you into an encore, you know you've got something special.
