Brian May, the guitarist from the legendary band Queen, surprised Coachella during Benson Boone's cover of "Bohemian Rhapsody," and it sounded like no one cared.

So it's no wonder Benson Boone took to TikTok to cheekily share his disappointment over the lackluster reaction of his audience.
On April 11, during Boone's debut performance at Coachella, he performed the ever iconic "Bohemian Rhapsody." This is a song that will always light up the venue. Not only did he cover one of the most impactful songs ever, but, he also invited the Queen guitarist himself on stage.
Brian May.
He somewhat recently suffered a "minor stroke" which left his left arm paralyzed. So for one of the most legendary guitarists to surprise Coachella after suffering such a health scare is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
And the audience really sounded like they didn't care. When watching clips of Brian May's performance myself, I couldn't believe just how tame the audience was. Did they not know who he was somehow? Did they just not care?
Well, Benson Boone thought to make his thoughts clear on the issue in a TikTok he uploaded recently. You can watch it below.
Internet Says Brian May Was Wasted On A Coachella Crowd
Those who relate to the disappointment took to the comments to share their thoughts on the matter.
"Brian May deserves a UK crowd. that whole performance would have sent a UK crowd FERAL!!" exclaimed a British fan. As a Brit myself, I can confirm that everyone would have completely lost it.
"People at coachella are all self centred influencers who give no care to pure talent :/," resigned one.
"See, even Benson knew that the crowd did not act appropriately when Brian May came out. Wasted on a Coachella crowd!" wrote a third.
"The fact that they didn't lose their minds is insane," commented another.
"What you pulled was legendary... point blank. that crowd didn't even know what they witnessed!" echoed one more.
The fact that you can still hear the music when Brian May rose onto the stage is a criminal offense. Everyone who attended that performance should take a long look in the mirror.
