Last night, Fire Country aired Season 3, Episode 17, which is an episode people have been waiting a while for. In this episode, "Fire and Ice," Jelly Roll debuts his acting chops as Noah, an ex-convict who's become a care worker.

Jelly Roll has discussed how the role personally means a lot to him, which is likely why he did such a good job. The star previously starred in Taylor Sheridan's "Tusla King" as a small cameo, but his role as Noah is his first 'proper' acting role where he takes on a character, not just himself.

I had my reservations; I didn't know if he'd do as good a job as he apparently did do. I mean, I didn't think he'd be bad, but I was worried that he wouldn't be able to perform as well as a legitimate actor. It's always awkward when a celebrity gets a serious role but struggle to get taken seriously.

Jelly Roll's performance as Noah, however, has impressed and pleased all who watched the episode.

Fans Praise Jelly Roll For Great Acting In 'Fire Country'

After the episode, the show's Instagram uploaded a post to celebrate Jelly Roll's part in the latest episode. Fans who tuned in took to the comments to share their thoughts.

"Such an awesome episode! Jellyroll did so great!!" exclaimed a fan.

"Love Jelly on last night, he did an amazing job, love him more, if he wanted he'd be great acting, he's just got this aura about him, I love hearing seeing him he's a good guy," gushed another.

"Jelly Roll was awesome. So natural," a third praised.

"Great episode. I love Jelly Rolls new song," wrote one more. Jelly Roll did provide a new song to go along with the episode, "Dreams Don't Die." It's available on streaming platforms if you want more.

Can we expect more acting from the country singer, however? It's likely. I don't reckon Jelly Roll will be taking a full step into acting, but I believe he'll take roles that mean a lot to him, like Noah did. He's not officially said anything on the matter, however.
